2 2/3 cups crushed saltine crackers
1 tsp garlic salt
1/2 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp paprika
dash of freshly ground black pepper
1 large egg
1 cup low-fat milk
1 1/2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breast strips
Canola oil for deep frying
Combine the crackers, salt, basil, paprika, and pepper in a shallow bowl.
In a second shallow bowl, beat the egg and milk together.
