CHEESY GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE

4 (14.5 oz) cans French-style green beans, drained

1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup

1 cup finely shredded cheddar cheese

2 cups crispy fried onions

Heat oven to 350 degrees.

Coat 14"x9" baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.

In a bowl, toss green beans with mushroom soup until fully coated; transfer to prepared baking dish. Top with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees approximately 30 minutes until hot and bubbly. Remove from oven, top with the fried onions. Return to oven and bake 5 more minutes or until the onions are slightly browned.

Variation: Omit cheddar cheese and substitute 1/4 cup grated Parmesan and 3/4 cup shredded Gouda.

Yield: 8 servings
