1 cup buttermilk
1/3 cup light mayonnaise
1 tbsp lemon juice OR white vinegar
1 tsp minced garlic
1 cup (4-oz) blue cheese, crumbled
In a medium bowl or a jar with a tight-fitting lid, whisk or shake the first 4 ingredients together until smooth. Add the blue cheese and stir or shake until blended.
Store in refrigerator and use on salads, as desired. May also be used as a veggie dip.
