MRS. DAVIS' CRUNCHY PEA SALAD

 Another great recipe from my cooking friend in Indiana, Patti Crane. This recipe was a favorite of her late mother, a sweet lady that was dearly loved in our community. I recommend this recipe.

Here's the pea salad recipe that my Mother loved

Crunchy Pea Salad

10oz. Fresh or frozen peas

1/4 c.crisp bacon,crumbled

1 c. Diced celery

1/2 c. Sour cream

1 c. Chopped celery

1/4 c. Diced green onion

1 c. Cashews

1/2 tsp. Dijon mustard

1 clove garlic,minced

1c. Hidden Valley Ranch dressing

Mix peas in hot water(or steam if fresh); drain

Combine vegetables, nuts and bacon with sour cream. Mix dressing, garlic and mustard together, pour over salad mixture. Toss gently and chill. Serves 4.
