EASY HOMEMADE CREAM CHEESE FROSTING

1 pkg (8-oz) cream cheese, softened
1 stick butter, softened
1 lb powdered sugar, sifted
1 tsp vanilla extract

Combine the cream cheese and butter until well blended. Slowly mix in the powdered sugar. When mixed in, add the vanilla flavoring and blend in well.

Spread over cooled cake.
